Interesting post! Here is the rest of the story.

The ancient Arabic term for the official noahite inner-circle of arabs is صبغت الله, or صبغت for short, and the ancient term for arab noahite officials is Mursaleen (known to Maimonides as the Chassidei Umos Ha Olam), even appears in the Qur’ān.

The 1st post while interesting does not constitute as proof. Especially since the Talmud interpreted the verse in the beginning of Exodus, concerning the “new king who did not know Yosef” as meaning that the goyim/nations had abandoned the brit of Noach. Israel being the light unto the goyim teaches by way of our true path masoret/tradition and does not teach by speculations.

  4. moshe kerr Says:

The consequence or result of this Talmud: the goyim today are non bnai brit nations. What or how does a person “cut” a brit? This has confused many because of circumcision. But milah/circumcision functions only as a “sign” of the brit, as does in similar fashion shabbot, and tefillen. Only bnai brit have any connection what so ever with mitzvot. A reasonable difficulty raised against this ruling, the 7 mitzvot of the gere toshav.

This requires a close learning of the Talmudic sources; its a deep idea, simply reading translations of the Talmudic texts or reading the orginal Talmudic texts like a child reads a primer in 1st or 2nd grade is simply inadiquate.

A brit is cut upon the soul. The proof to this ruling, the Talmud compares goyim unto animals. The intent of this comparison being: just as animals have no brit upon their soul so too goyim have no brit upon their soul; just as the soul of animals dies when their body dies so too goyim. The kabbalah develops the idea of gilgulim, but its a side point that while very important could easily confuse the significant Talmudic teaching on this subject. Kabbalah being the hand maiden to the Talmud.

The Talmud together with the Mishna and the T’NaCH were all sealed for the explicit purpose of giving all the generations of Israel the same identical mesoret/tradition. In this way one generation can not say “I have a better mesoret than a later generation has”. The great codes and commentaries written on the Sh’as function as secondary sources and NEVER as primary sources b/c the primary sources the Sages have sealed for all generations to come.

A gere toshav are resident aliens living under the jurisdiction of a Sanhedrin court with the power to try Capital Cases. Obviously such a court could only exist within the borders of a Jewish State. Outside these same borders Jewish courts of 3 only have authority to try/hear cases of damages.

Within the borders of a viable Sanhedrin of 71 or 23, meaning the Torah functions as the Constitution of Governance, non bnai brit do not enjoy any political protections. The Talmud teaches this, in the famous Mishna and gemara which declares a ox Canaani that damages an ox Israel must pay full damages; while an ox Israel that damages an ox Canaani is exempt from damages!

Resident aliens if they wanted political rights had to agree to abide by the 7 mitzvot. As staid above a brit is cut upon the “life”/soul. The 7 mitzot bnai noach, as its commonly refered to, functioned as a limited brit upon the soul b/c if a ger toshav violated one of these commandments this person could be tried and put to death for commiting a Capital crime against his soul. However, should this resident alien leave Israel, then obviously no Sanhedrin had the authority to impose these 7 commandments upon goyim living under their own governments within their own countries.
